There’s something about December in The Bahamas that brings out a very specific kind of joyful chaos, the kind that feels unique to island life and reminds you why people fall in love with living here. It’s one of my favorite seasons, not just because of the energy across The Bahamas, but because I genuinely love having a full house. The Chaos Tell The Truth

By the time the house fills up, every Bahamian home starts to reveal its personality. There’s a cousin asleep on the couch because the guest room is already spoken for. The kitchen is putting in overtime, and your refrigerator is working harder than a Junkanoo drummer on Boxing Day, opening and closing in a steady beat from sunrise to midnight.
