Leslie Colclough - A Closer Look

Leslie Colclough, sales associate with Bahamas Realty, is a born and raised Bahamian that loves Bahamian architecture and design. “I come from an artsy family and love creating art whether through interior design or specific pieces.  My inspiration comes from the islands of The Bahamas. I would call my style “Island Chic”.

  

What are your hobbies or talents?

Other than art, I enjoy traveling, boating, crosswords, reading, and starting my days doing aquafit with my “Aqua Divas”.

How did you get your start in Real Estate?

I playfully refer to real estate as my retirement career.  I am an attorney and my main area of practice was real estate law so it was a natural segue into buying and selling real estate.

What do you love about being in real estate?

It may sound cliché but I genuinely enjoy helping people.  Real estate transactions can be daunting and my legal background and real estate training enable me to put people at ease and guide them through all aspects of their sale or purchase.  There is nothing quite like the feeling of witnessing the excitement of a client when you have found them their perfect home or the pleasure of a Seller by securing a quick sale.

What attracted you to work with Bahamas Realty?

Bahamas Realty Ltd has been in business for over 70 years and continues to garner respect and admiration.  There are not many local companies who can boast of being invited, rather than applying, to join a worldwide affiliation of real estate companies but Bahamas Realty has earned this honour and is an affiliate of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World network crossing six continents of the world.  Moreover, the encouragement and support of the leadership team, sales team members, and administrative staff is second to none.  I feel very fortunate to be a part of this fantastic team.
