Community-minded Heather is our BREA-licensed Abaco agent who enjoys meeting and helping people. With a professional background in marketing, design, project management, and communications, Heather moved to Elbow Cay, Abaco, in 2006 to start a business after working abroad in the U.S.A. as the director of brand communications for Atlantis, Paradise Island, and One&Only Ocean Club resorts.

Grounded in over 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she thrives under pressure, enjoys the energy of positive collaboration, the flexibility of stepping into diverse roles, and simply making things happen with her eye on the end goal.

Outside of Bahamas Realty, Heather serves her country, representing Abaco’s interests. She is one of five women entrusted by the Bahamian Government to restore and protect Abaco’s iconic Elbow Reef Lighthouse and a founder/working member of the U.S. 501c3 Elbow Reef Foundation dedicated to helping Elbow Cay rebuild and preserve the island’s heritage. In addition, Heather is a director of the Abaco Chamber of Commerce and knowledgeable about the Abaco area where she and her husband, Andrew, live with their two favorite little people, Luke and Fina.

Heather was born in Nassau, and educated in Canada, where she received a B.A. from Carleton University in Ottawa. She is a talented artist who loves working with children to inspire them to believe in and apply themselves. She is also an experienced commercial baker who enjoys creating unique flavor profiles. Other creative outlets include: making short iMovies for the Lighthouse’s YouTube channel, droning, photography, writing and illustrating children's books, reviewing interior and architectural designs, and drafting small home plans for fun.
